I have worked in local journalism for more than 15 years, with the last decade specializing in digital products and audience growth. Leading the Local News Resource Center, a partnership with Meta and Local Media Association, I coached hundreds of local newsrooms across North America on social media strategy.
As social media has evolved, so has my work supporting news organizations and leaders to develop strong digital strategies that drive audience and revenue across diverging platforms. As an independent consultant, I partner with other experts in the local media industry to offer fractional leadership spanning social media, SEO, newsletters, branded content and digital products.
